Standing guard at Cape Otway as a silent sentry since 1848 is Australia’s oldest lighthouse. If climbing the spiraling staircase of the historic lighthouse isn’t enough to draw you in, visitors can also have a bite to eat and a warm drink at the Lightstation’s café and even extend their stay in welcoming accommodations. There’s plenty to do at the Lightstation, including 4-Wheel-Driving adventures, ghost tours and whale-watching expeditions.
